Start Treaty passes 71-26

The progressive left within the  senate, among democrat, republican and independents is now clear.  Senators opted for rushed, no debate, con-artist non-binding ambiguity over the forthrightness of integrity of American politics.

Warnings by John Bolton were sent out, clearly stating the ambiguity of the Start Treaty,  and fell on deaf ears.  Ambassador Bolton’s service to America clearly sets his expertise apart from anyone serving in congress.  Yet, the utter disregard for this accomplished man’s advice, was stunning, falling to deaf, headstrong, agenda fillers.

As to the consequences of rejecting the treaty, they are not even vaguely apocalyptic. Senators should understand that saying no to this agreement implies neither opposing all future arms-control agreements nor even opposing a subsequent, modified version of this treaty. Rejecting the text signed in Prague simply requires that negotiators return to the bargaining table, with instructions to Team Obama to do a better job. That is, after all, what the “advice” portion of the Senate’s “advice and consent” power actually means.

Substantively, the most appalling aspect of the Obama-Medvedev treaty is not its specific provisions, but what it reveals about President Obama’s national-security psychology. He has repeatedly said he believes lowering U.S. nuclear-warhead levels will encourage support for the Non-Proliferation Treaty’s weapons prohibitions on non-nuclear-weapons states. This is the purest form of theology, since the empirical evidence is entirely to the contrary. As the Cold War ended, Moscow and Washington made dramatic reductions in warhead levels, huge in percentage and absolute terms. Nonetheless, nuclear proliferation continued, and the pace is quickening. After START I and II, India, Pakistan, and North Korea tested nuclear weapons, and Iran rapidly approaches that point. Syria had a clandestine nuclear reactor until Israel destroyed it in September 2007. And if current and aspiring nuclear proliferators keep or develop weapons, this will encourage still more proliferation activity. ~former UN Ambassador, John Bolton

Harry Reid stated he would hold congress over to January 5th if necessary to “be about the work of the American people.  Really??? Since 83% of Americans feel we are on the wrong track, and on November 2, took to the polling booths to vote the democrat logic out of office…..we clearly stated we were dissatisfied with your work and felt it constitutionally unfitting for a lame duck congress to be held at all.  Only 13 % approve.

Americans’ assessment of Congress has hit a new low, with 13% saying they approve of the way Congress is handling its job. The 83% disapproval rating is also the worst Gallup has measured in more than 30 years of tracking congressional job performance.

The prior low approval rating for Congress was 14% in July 2008 when the United States was dealing with record-high gas prices and the economy was in recession. ~Gallup

Rather telling is that both the low approval scores have persisted for 2 straight years with the same 111th Congress under progressive Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid.

These numbers do not reflect democratic-representative REPUBLIC!  Something darker is representing America.

Progressives shoved in ear plugs and with about the destruction of America via the passage of the most egregious legislation of our time in the lame-duck congress.   Clearly, an agenda, so egregious to Americans had been decided long ago, that no matter who would hold power, or if a reversal of power occurred that certain things would pass, which would require some to cast off integrity and principles of freedom and liberty, and never look back.  And they did…

In a stunning show of force, these senators stated their overall loyalty to progressivism!

The call for slow deliberate wording, was never about the fact of reduction of arms, but how it would be accomplished.  The above did it with abruption to low-class, willy-nilly and disregard for a clear concise binding resolution, and it is clear to me they have no lines that they will not cross to destroy nationalism for the progressive agenda that favors globalism.

The 83% of Americans who believe this nation to be on the wrong track must unite to ensure America’s values are upheld by searching the field for men and women of valor and honor who believe in standing strong to protect those values.  Citizens of liberty, freedom and integrity are needed to replace those above.

It is truly up to the citizenry now, because DC has a do or die mentality that knows nothing of honor.  It  is pointless to ask why these men and women would consider dishonor and disloyalty something of greatness to a nation who values integrity, freedom and liberty, but they have.  Why does not matter any longer.

John Bolton’s voice is necessary, and to those who just discount his service, expertise and refuse to listen to him, I would recommend they not be in service of my country!

America, fellow citizens,  we have serious work to do!
